- Is Notecloud free to use?
Yes. Notecloud is free to use for organisations and their followers.
- Will there be advertising on the app?
The app will require advertising revenue but in the form of a sponsored ads section which has been developed to be non-intrusive. The user will need to click into the sponsored ads section to be actually exposed to an ad from a retailer or brand. We fully understand that the success of our product is linked to the user experience and we have carried out exhaustive on street surveys with individuals and appreciate that users do not wish to be surprised or flooded by ads.

Who owns the data and where is it stored?
NoteCloud data is stored on Amazon Web Servers, and in exactly the same way as Facebook, Twitter etc the data is owned by NoteCloud.

Can a user turn off advertising messages/sponsored messages?
Sponsored ads cannot be turned off, however, as the user will need to click into “sponsored ads” to find out more information, there is no requirement to click into any sponsored ads.

Can an organisation control who follows it?
If you choose the public setting any registered user of the NoteCloud App can choose to follow your organisation, this will drive more followers to you through the NoteCloud community. If you choose the private setting, you must then upload the mobile numbers of the users who are allowed follow your organisation. These users will be then be permitted to follow your organisation.

Is there a restriction on number of characters an organisation can use in a message?
Yes, the messages are limited to 500 characters.

Is there a restriction on the number of messages an organsiation can send?
No

Can images be added to a message?
No, not yet.

Can web links be added to a message?
Yes, hyperlinks can be included in the body of a message

Can users reply to the organisation?
No, messaging is one way only from the organisation to the follower

Can followers see other followers?
No, unlike Whatsapp groups you can’t see other follows.
